Description
Kamarkas is a rare Indian Spice derived from the resin of Palash Tree (Tesu Tree or Dhak Tree) and traditionally used to relieve back pain or weakness by ladies especially after pregnancy.
It is used in Panjiri or Laddu also to help lactating mothers for daily consumption. Kamar Kasana in Hindi means tightening of the waist.
Its botanical name is Butea Monosperma or Butea Frondosa and in English also known as Flame of Forest.
Manaka is also quite useful tonic also.
